Ross uses strong 1st half to hold off our Lady Cougars

ROSS 52, EDGEWOOD 32: Rachael Connaughton totaled 12 points to lead Ross to a Fort Ancient Valley Conference win over host Edgewood on Saturday night, Jan. 24. Megan Ballard and Brittany Berry added nine points apiece for the Rams (11-3, 5-1 FAVC Scarlet). Leanne Williams led the Cougars (4-10, 2-5 FAVC Scarlet) with 10 points. Sam Stewart chipped in with nine points in the loss. Both teams return to action Wednesday with Edgewood at Harrison and Ross hosting West Carrollton.
