Girls Soccer Notches 2nd Tournament Win . . . First Since 1991

EDGEWOOD 6, TECUMSEH 0:
The Cougars advanced to the third round of the tournament for just the second time in school history, and the first since 1991, with a Division I victory at EHS on Thursday, Oct. 16. Leading the scoring for Edgewood (11-5-2) were Kaylee Tegencamp (two goals), Sara Pearson (one goal, two assists), Miranda Milholland (goal, assist), Brooke Haynes (goal), Kaitlyn Wright (goal) and Haylee Hall (two assists). Taylor Ray and Sara Hannon combined for the shutout in goal, and four-year starter Holly Campbell played her final game at Kumler Field. Edgewood will face the Centerville-Northmont winner Monday night.

NOTE:  It was also the final game at Kumler Field for senior Tori Coate.
